I worked as a room attendant at a luxury hotel a few years ago. I landed the position without experience and underestimated how exhausting and stressful hospitality jobs can get. As a newbie, I was incredibly slow and could barely clean 5 rooms a day.
So one of the senior housekeepers gave me a few tips to work efficiently. I used this method throughout my time as a housekeeper, and I still use it and other skills when providing Airbnb, office, and private home cleaning services
Cleaning An Airbnb In A Few Steps
Step1 - Spray the bathroom with cleaning products
Step 2 - Strip the beds while the products break down grime and kill germs
Step 3 - Put on gloves and clean the bathroom
Step 4 - Make the beds and put fresh towels in the bathroom
Step 5 - Put away the dirty linen
Step 6 - Dust and wipe surfaces, polish mirrors, and hoover
Step 7 - Wash plates and cups, clean and sanitise the kitchen
Step 8 - Empty the bins
Step 9 - Look around to see if I missed anything
Step 10 - Take the dirty linen on my way out
